Matson Announces Candidacy for South Dakota Senate from District 11

Sioux Falls pastor and community activist Aaron Matson announced today that he will be a candidate for the South Dakota Senate from District 11 in the 2026 election.
"I look forward to talking with the voters in District 11 and discussing the issues important to them," said Matson. "My campaign will focus on how I will fight for a state government that works for the people of South Dakota, working on issues like affordability, education, protecting our rights, and the need to reduce the influence of big money in our politics."
The 2024 general election will take place on November 3, 2026.
